What is a Book and Bear Box?

Book and Bear Box is a monthly subscription of Teddy Bear Stuffing Kits and related Picture books and activities for kids and their parents.

How does it work?

 

 

Subscribe by the end of any month and you'll receive our most current box. Boxes ship on or around the 4th of every month. Subscribe on a month-to-month plan or buy any One-time or Special Edition box to try. Or choose our Monthly Mini Bear Box. Cancel Anytime. 

How are the boxes priced?

Each Book and Bear Box is valued at $79.00. Subscribe for just $54.99 per month with Free Shipping. Cancel Anytime. Mini Book and Bear Boxes are $39.99, also with free shipping. Special Edition, One-time and Birthday Boxes range from $59.99 to $64.99.

Can I get Extra Bear Kits for my Kids?

Of course! We offer Subscriptions for Multiple-Child Homes as well. Additional Bears are added to your box at half their regular price.

What Age is Best for Book and Bear?

Books are geared toward children ages 3 to 8, give or take a few years. Bears are easy to stuff for small children with a little parental help, but are not recommended for children under 3 due to small parts. If your child is 8-12, ask about our new Book and Bear Box with Chapter Books for children ages 8 and up or for reading aloud.
 

What's the difference between plans?

    "Book and Bear Club" is a Monthly Subscription including a New Bear and a New Book each month.

      Mini Book and Bear Boxes feature little (8 inch) Bears and Paperback or Board Books.

       

      How long does it take for an order to arrive?

        We only ship within the United States at this time. We ship Priority Mail for arrival within 3 days of shipping. All subscription boxes ship on the 4th of the month. (Unless the 4th falls on a Sunday, in which we ship on the 3rd.) One-Time and Special Edition Boxes ship the next Business Day or on the date indicated for the Special Edition Box. Shipping is FREE.

         

        How do the subscription dates and one-time orders work?

          One-time and Birthday Box orders ship within 3 business days after you order. We use USPS Priority Mail for fastest, trackable shipping.
          Subscription Boxes are new each month. Here is the shipping schedule:
          • Our initial ship date is the 4th of each month (unless the 4th falls on a Holiday or Sunday, in which case we ship early).
          • If you subscribe after the 3rd and before the 10th, we will send your box within 3 business days of ordering by USPS Priority Mail (as long as stock for the current month's box lasts). For instance, May's Box is a Brachiosaurus Dinosaur. New Subscribers who join between May 4th and May 10th will still receive a Dinosaur Box (while Brachiosaurus supplies last).
          • Subscriptions begun after the 10th of the month will be considered orders for the next month and will be shipped on the 4th of the next month. For instance, in June our box theme is Llamas. If you subscribe after May 10th, you would receive a Llama Box shipped on June 4th.  

          Can I have a tracking number?

          We provide a USPS Priority Mail tracking number via email when we ship your order.

              Where are your warehouses located?

              Book and Bear's warehouse is located in Fresno, CA, USA.

                Do you ship Internationally?

                Not at this time. If you would like a Book and Bear Box shipped to another country, you can email us for a shipping cost estimate. However, during the summer of 2020 we have no plans to ship outside the USA for the immediate future. The current world health crisis has significantly impacted shipping to other countries, and we don't want to disappoint International customers with expensive and often delayed shipments. For this reason we are only shipping within the USA for the foreseeable future. 

                  Why have I not received any order confirmation details?

                  Most times this is because our customers have accidentally entered their email information incorrectly. Throughout the process, we send 2-3 emails, including an order confirmation, a fulfillment notice, and a shipping notice. If you believe you may have entered your email incorrectly, please contact us and we will fix it for you.

                    What is your refund policy?

                    Making YOU happy is our number one priority.  We want to provide a risk-free shopping experience and trust our customers to not take advantage of us on this offer. We inspect all Boxes before shipping for accuracy and quality to ensure your satisfaction. If you have any questions or concerns, please email customer service at: Hello@bookandbear.com
                    Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime. However, we will not refund boxes that have already been shipped when you cancel. Be sure to cancel before your next shipping date to avoid unwanted additional boxes.

                    I ordered Plush Animals, where can I find out how to stuff them? Is it difficult for children?

                    Stuffing our Plush Animals is very simple. Just open the bag of fluff provided, and insert the fluff into the pouch inside the back of the bear. Direct the children to push the fluff into the animals' arms and legs, too. Once the bears are stuffed, pull on the zip tie around the inner bag to close, and then cut the zip tie to secure.
