Frequently Asked Questions
When will my order ship?
Subscription orders placed by the last day of the month will ship in the middle of the coming month. Be sure to provide your best email at checkout to receive your shipping notifications and tracking numbers.
How do subscriptions work with Odyssey?
Odyssey is the selected platform for the Utah UFA program, and Book and Bear has been approved for parents to use their UFA funds to directly order on the Odyssey Marketplace. Only prepaid subscriptions are approved, so you can choose to prepay 3, 6, 9 or 12 months of Monthly Deliveries.
Simply login to your Odyssey Parent Portal and look for "The Book and Bear Company" in the Educational Materials Section of the Marketplace where you'll find all of our approved products and an easy checkout.
Can I use my funds for recurring subscriptions?
The short answer: No. State funding only allows for prepaid subscriptions.

What if the animal my child wants is out of stock?
After a remarkable Christmas Season, all of our single boxes are SOLD OUT. Our next opportunity to catch up on past animals will be our Christmas in July Sale. Subscribers' orders are guaranteed to be in stock as long as the order is received by the end of the previous month.
Do you restock sold out animals?
Not at this time. Single box inventory are all subscription boxes from past months, and once they're gone, they're gone. Popular animals may make a return appearance in a few years.
Some animals have been discontinued by the manufacturer and we are no longer able to restock those.😢
